“Why you are asking would anyone chose to shoot with an iphone 4, especially someone with all the toys at their disposal? Well the challenge to be honest. Can something so small, with so many limiting functions be used to shoot a film and be made to not look like it was shot on the iphone? I think so and so do my collaborators on this project the Reece brothers. They came to me a couple of days ago and asked if I would be interested in working on this. I thought about it, asking myself “do i really want to try and shoot something proper on such a limited device?” and the answer was why not! I know I am going to dying to go back to my 5Dmkii after this and forgive the flaws it has…but this will be fun. Film Tax credits called for Childrens TV by House of Lords

The House of Lords have called for film tax credits to be extended to amongst others, childrens TV.

It’s being suggested that the minimum 18% tax relief for UK films is to be applied to all children’s and animated television productions on a pilot basis.

Filming In London Special Offers for 2010

In 2008, the London Filming Partnership agreed to look at the cost of filming in London. Film London hosted a forum to discuss the issues surrounding charges, and a number of working groups were established following this.

As a result of this work, the London boroughs have committed to a greater level of transparency on charging and several members of the Partnership are now offering discounts and incentives.
